First 5k run after injury...

… and I ran it only 1 second slower than my PB!

Wasn't even trying to - I ran at a comfortable pace and just felt soooo good. I wasn't expecting that but, hooray!

So training to get back to 10k can officially start as can a return to parkrunning!

Yes, I think so. Though I've been doing a fair bit of leg strengthening and I've been doing shorter runs for 3 weeks or so. I'm just glad to be back!

I bet! The leg strengthening has obviously paid off 😊

Nice to hear from you that you enjoyed your run today after injury, not long now until you run again at parkrun and a 10K.
