I got up at 0615 and did what I had to around the house and for work. Then 0710 the dreaded run! I am still in pain from my right kidney up to mid stomach below my ribs. However just get on with it I said to myself. 35 minutes later all done and no fuss.
Yes I was biting through the second half of the second 8 minutes and my breathing was a little laboured but on I went. Before I knew Michael was telling me there remains only 60 seconds.
Deep joy!

Im a bit concerned about this pain you say you have tfcmagpie too😯..
You say in a previous post that you have it all the time not just running, and that you have been checked by your doctor. Did you go back...it would be good to know what the problem is. If it is just a strain do you have an idea how you did it?
Well done on that W5 R2 by the way, but as the next run is quite 'special' maybe get yourself checked out?
I have an appointment on the 13/09. Although I was in pain standing watching my team play football this afternoon. You are right about the 20 mins in Wk5 R3 but I must face it down and get through it.
Now.. I am not going to say, well done... even though you did the run... running through pain is a definite no-no!
You really should not be running.
I know you said in your other post that you have had bloods etc done at the Drs..but did you have this pain when you saw him. We are not medical experts on the forum... but any of the, shall we say, more experienced and seasoned Graduates will advise you that aches and body grumblings are expected in the first weeks..pain is most definitely not... !
The runs will still be there...but you, could be damaging your body and risk being off the running path for a while. I am an old worrier... but as a Mentor, it is part of my role to worry about you
I see that you were in pain standing watching your football too...
Please, please, go and get this checked out... Please do not run again before you do.. that run is not going anywhere.
