So completed Week 3 Run 1 today. I was so scared but actually found it easier than I thought but then that worried me thinking I’m kidding myself into working hard. But then I had Sarah Millican’s voice in my head giving me pointers such as “imagine you are running next to a hedge. If someone was on the other side they shouldn’t be able to notice you’re running” which really helped me keep my pace and posture at a nice level. Onwards and upwards me thinks 💪🏼 next run on Thursday plus it’s my birthday tomorrow so glad it’s my rest day 😂 🥳

Great run, and mental breakthrough. Some runs will be tougher than others... but none of them are to be feared... what’s the worst that happens if you don’t complete one? I’m about 15 months into running and I’ve not completed several runs now... nothing happens... the run waits for its butt to be kicked. You’re only going to succeed in the long run... come to the start lines relaxed, every start line you cross makes you a better, stronger runner.
Have a wonderful birthday and next run.
