WK 6 - R 2 - TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

Hello my lovelies

Well, it is too good to be true, I can't believe I've come this far yet again. So glad I listened to those who advised me to go back to the run 2 and 3 of WK 5.

This was harder to start with this evening though.....legs tiring quite soon into the first 10 minutes. My pace quickened to begin, but the reigning in thought kicked in and I slowed down. I'm not anywhere near running, just a steady slow jog, enough to lift my feet off the floor and remembering the heel to toe motion......I've learnt this to be very important, together with the breathing when I get a stitch, which I did towards the end of the first 10 minutes 😊

Was rather warm this evening, with a lovely sun shining down.....but I was rather flushed tonight which is quite noticeable on my pic πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Sorry for the same background and for you all to be presented with my mug again πŸ˜‚, it would be nice to be able to upload more than one pic, but alas not. Plus, I habe to use my son's phone as my selife has died πŸ˜•

I don't think I'll get much of a score out of 10 this evening from MarkyD for the same top again.....I must get my act together πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€”πŸ™„

After my podcast finished, I listened to 2 good tracks. Great for power walking and running, depending on whether you like the kind of music.

Thanks for reading my post folks 😘

WooHoo! Looking very good! I went swimming last night for the first time in years! Got to keep some motivation now I'm on this 'healthy' road! The knee felt ok so I'm guessing that will be my go to until I finish my ITBAND exercises!!

Keep going girl, your doing it for us both now! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜€x

Hey, thanks Lisa. So glad you've been swimming, that's bound to help your knee. Hoping you'll be back running before too long, but only when you're ready, don't rush it or it could set you back again. The podcast is always there, thank god too as I should have finished it a while ago, haha x πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‘

Well done you, this is a fashion parade of rather fab tops. With a lady always smiling. That's a great encouragement to anyone in the programme. Fantastic

Thanks Jan, you're so lovely. Should have run this evening, but time didn't permit, so I'm psyching myself up for either tomorrow or Fri, haha πŸ€—

25 minute run coming up next - W6r3. You've done all the hard work and no doubt you can see yourself running 30 minutes and graduating in a few weeks.

Pink or blue trainers for W6r2? MarkyD's fashion advice is a bit stumped with that vest, I think that either would be OK.

Aww, thanks MarkyD 😊

We could have a bet as to which pair I'll wear.....not that I'm a betting person though, but it could be a fun bet πŸ˜‚

I'm still on the hunt for new tops, ordered 2 last week, but alas they were no good πŸ˜•

A longer run then I see for Wk6 Run 3?? It's all or nothing....I may need a πŸ’£behind me, lol.
