Week 7. Run 1.

Let's just call it a practice run shall we? Got to 20ish minutes and Mr Smooth said to take some deep breaths so I did. A couple of minutes later I really felt as if I was going to be sick! Not clever on a treadmill!

I slowed down to a brisk walk for a couple of minutes but kept moving. I also made up the running time lost before slowing down to my 5 minute walk. But I feel so upset that I managed this run on Friday and not today πŸ˜”

The first run that I will need to repeat. Hopefully will be the last one too.

Of all the runs I've done to date, this was my worst one - so take heart. I had to slow right down, almost to my walking pace which felt ridiculous when I'd already run it once and knew I could do it.

Thank you. I don't think my heart was in it from when I woke up this morning to be honest. But I won't let it beat me.

Hey remember Mr Smooth called you a runner last time out and he has gold medals and everything. You still did your time by making up the lost run, therefore it was a practice run and of course, no-one should ever have clean up sick on a treadmill, that is beyond the call of duty..... So in truth you probably did exactly the right thing for you...

Keep going fellow smoothie, where you go I hope to follow - well in about 3 weeks' time
