So having accidentally done W5r1 as my second run of week 4 - yes I am that slavish that once Laura starts to tell me to do something - naturally I follow orders. I was a bit nervous to find out if being able to do, last week, it wouldn't be a bit of a fluke, and I'd actually struggle today. Also almost had to go out in the wrong running shorts - as couldn't find my favourites initially, and that almost threw me as well. But as it is - R1 of the big wk 5 is done, distances logged (3.4km including w/up and w/down, speed calculated 6.38km/h), and weight measured (down another "lb"), so progress all round, and actually feeling ok - now just need to remember to move about to day - so I don't stiffen up whilst sat at the desk.
Anyway to all those like me doing week 5 and still persevering, almost half way.......

God forbid I ever met her in person - by the end of week 9 she could probably tell me "run onto the pier and keep on going your half way - don't worry about the water - you can do it......."
Well done you, to be honest at one time I hoped Mr Smooth would tell me which route to take, because I honestly thought he'd be much better at deciding than me! Well done on getting this one under your belt and for the weight loss too. You sound like you have it all nicely under control. Good luck for rest of the week's runs.
