After completing C2 5K my goal was to do a park run. Having been very heavy (read 18st plus) last year I dieted then exercised. Then discovered couch to 5 k. For those of you early in the program it really does work its turned me into a runner. Having now discovered these communities I have additional motivation to progress to 10k. The positivity here is amazing keep up the great work folks. Keep doing the runs it will pay off.
Oh.. and I managed 29:03 which I am ecstatic about. My next park runs in a fortnight I have a goal. Meanwhile I am going to work on the stamina.
Ps Park Runs are brilliant, nearly 500 at the one I attended. Well organised a great atmosphere what a great way to spend and hour.
PPS Can anyone give me tips on if strava is a good idea and the best way to use it ?
