Good morning and goodbye week 4

Well I usually do run 3 on a Friday. But yesterday was a mix of work, 2 hour kids party and having my parents round before they jet off for a 2 week holiday. So I woke up this morning and got straight into my running gear. Had a few almonds, espresso and a glass of water. And off I went. Beautiful sunshine, not a sign of any rain. Found it a bit tougher which I blamed on the Indian takeaway and glass of red wine from last night. But when I got home and looked at what my FitBit tracked, turns out I went further than run one in 4 minutes less. My cool down walk ended right outside my house. Perfect!! So it wasn't tougher because of the curry, it was tougher because my body was clearly working harder. But it wasn't uncomfortable as I would've just slowed down which I did in parts. So that's the end of week 4!

I did manage to get a picture of the non dead cat for you all though from my warm up walk. Now I'm off for boiled eggs on toast knowing I can enjoy the rest of the day without anything hanging over me.

Well done! Remember, slow is good! It will help you stay strong til the end💪🏃‍♀️✔️

Love the non dead cat pic... and well done you on getting out and doing better than you had earlier. It just shows doesn't it - can you even remember now W1R1? It's always a good start to the day, and the smugness halo never slips because we are runners.... and smug halos are fab
