I can't believe tomorrow will be my last C25K run. Instead of feeling jubilant, I'm actually feeling a bit disappointed that it's almost over. Isn't that weird? I've enjoyed the weekly goal smashing and I worry my dedication to running will wane without that factor. I've looked at B210K but I can't say I look forward to running for that long! Any tips from graduates to keep my motivation up after tomorrow?

Just enjoy the experience of running for a few weeks before you decide what to do. Get yourself in the habit of running three times a week, use the c25k+ podcasts to give you structure if you need. Then decide whether you want to increase your distance, speed or just to be happy running three times a week.
Enjoy you last run and celebrate how far you have already come.
Run. run and run some more.
Its not the end.... this is just the beginning!!! Parkrun? Sign up for a 5k? Do the C25k plus podcasts?? just keep running for 3 times a week to explore where you live? Take pics on your runs and start a journal? There is stacks.... most importantly keep enjoying it
I was the same. Found it really hard to settle after finishing the plan. I needed a focus. So my focus became Parkrun. I run 5k on a Tuesday and Thursday and then on a Saturday I run Parkrun. My aim is to get to a sub 30 minute 5k and do it consistently. My time for 5k has come down from 39:14 to 31:04.
I also joined a really friendly running club and train with them on Thursdays. I have entered my first 5k road race in 2 weeks time on the 11th of August.
The personal challenge of a sub 30 minute 5k run is keeping my interest very much alive.
Look forward to the finish of C25K. It's a fantastic achievement and something to be very proud of. It's as said above just the start.
Yep,C25k+ podcasts. Called Stepping Stones. Plenty of running there which can keep you busy into infinity.
If you want to develop your running youshouldn't suffer from lack of momentum cos all you need to do is get out the door
Sami Murphy Bridge to is 10k is mega awesome 🙂
Well done for getting through to week 9, that's brilliant.
But it's not the end, for a start all the lovely people on this forum are still here. If want to carry on with the podcast/ app you can use the W9 runs again and again.
Then there's Parkruns, I try to do that every Saturday so it counts as one of my runs each week. There's also the 5k+ podcasts, worth a try.
Or just run for 30mins with your own music, it's nice to do that with no pressure once a week.
So you've got plenty to look forward to.
Enjoy your graduation run, celebrate in style and keep posting.
Good luck and happy running!
