My 3 year old daughter has lovingly and generously shared her 'back-to-childcare-germs' with us all so me and my running partner kiddo are feeling under the weather, and slowly but surely starting to seriously flag... still going for a run as soon as hubby is home though (which shows how much I love Cto5k as when I was a gym goer, any sign of illness was enough to get me to say 'not tonight, I'll go tomorrow instead!').
If we don't go today it'll have to be tomorrow but it's my birthday tomorrow so I was hoping to have a little great day... 😂 plus we'd then have to do run 3 on Saturday but we're at the footy so, basically, if we don't drag our butts out tonight, our schedule totally goes out of the window! 😬
Hoping we'll both still be able to make it round and back home without collapsing!
Wish us luck! 👍

I literally have no idea what's come over me! We managed the full session too, even taking a slightly different route and running much more uphill (but consequently a bit slower!)... feeling pretty good right now... if a little stuffy again 😷
Good luck chick. It was my day off today so for a change I got to run W4R2 in the morning. Again, I quite enjoyed it and very surprised I can jog for 5 mins. Hope you feel better soon, nothing worse thsn the dreaded nursery lurgy. Also have a wicked birthday tomorrow.
Ooh, I'd love to be able to run during the day but with work and a serious lack I'd childcare options, It's gonna have to be evening runs for the foreseeable!
Glad you enjoyed it. Jogging for 5 minutes is pretty awesome, I think! To think I struggled at 1 minute, when this all started, is just madness.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. It's gonna be a rough one, the first since I lost my dad at Christmas and officially became parent-less (never sure if orphan applies when I'm an adult...) but if one good thing has come from losing both my parents in such a short space of time, It's that I really need to start looking after myself for the sake of my kids, if nothing else... It's what ultimately lead me to trying this out and I'm so glad I've finally found something that I genuinely want to stick at!
Sorry to hear of your loss. I still have my dad, but lost my mum nearly 6 yrs ago. Im guessing you parents would be proud that you are doing this for you and your own kids. X
I lost mom and my father in law 5 years ago, then my mother in law 3 years ago then dad last year. It's been rough but certainly made me realise that life is most definitely too short
