Not at all, my schedule was Sat, Mon and Weds, then Thurs and Fri's were my two rest days. I found this pattern very beneficial I.e two days before embarking on a new pattern of runs; but one size does not fit all ,lol. Do whatever suits you and enjoy the experience.
You will be fine. I ran every Mon/Weds/Fri. As long as you are reasonably consistent you should have no problems. Better 2 consecutive rest days than no rest day. Easy on the alcohol the night before a run though (if you are a morning runner like me anyway)!
