Mr Chuffed from Chuffington here! Week 5 complete with the 20 minute run firmly tucked under my belt! I wasn't sure how I would cope with the apparent sudden leap in running time but the mental conditioning which goes hand in hand with the physical conditioning is a subtle beast and before I could think 'you must be joking' I'd covered 10 minutes! The adrenaline boost from learning I'd run continuously for longer than ever before pushed me to the 20 minute mark and a fist pumping Elvis impersonation! Not the singing, I wouldn't inflict that on anybody, but the hip swaying wobbly legs! Those disappeared quickly with the cool down walk but it must've been something odd to witness!
Week 6 begins on Monday, the great adventure continues!

Well done Mr chuffed!! That first unbroken run is a real game changer. But the stamina you've built since your first interval session over a month ago has built you to this point. The apparent 'leap' is purely a mental one - the programme has had you moving (not counting warm up/down walks) for 16 minutes non-stop from day one - whilst letting you believe you were only running for 60 seconds.
However the plan only works if you do; so well done again, take a bow and get your game-face on - because W6 is not the easy ride it looks.
Brilliant, well done, I remember w5r3 vividly, it seemed impossible and, as you say, suddenly it's done! There will be no stopping you now, it was a huge turning point for me and I have finished the programme now.
