W7R3...and it's all about "limping into W8"...

Well...I managed R3...and the run felt ......better. My conditioning is improving for sure...I am almost to the top of "the HILL" before my breathing begins sounding like a whale blowing...lol. And even though it is very hot and humid here I actually didn't feel the distress which accompanied R2 and ran well to the end.

On the other hand....I am sitting here with an ice pack on my wonky knee.

Funny how 25 years away from something will make you forget the bad bits. But it all came back to me after Monday's near disaster...even though right now I'm doing steps one at a time I know it WILL get better with miles and strength conditioning. Common problem with overpronaters, which I know I am. For now it's run easy...avoid downhills (lol)....and RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation).

Roll on week 8...and I still love you C25K...even if you do hurt me once in a while (lol)

Good running everyone!

I agree with you there I thought I was dieing after 45 seconds, but I was going too fast so we have learned so much along the way too.

I dont feel as much like a runner as you as you can do this outside in the real world of hills and I admire you for that. I may get out there one day you never know.

O, never fear....you are every bit as much of a runner as I am...in fact, I doubt I would have gotten this far if I would have had to do it on a treadmill! You see, in the end, it's really about getting off our arse and just doing it...
