Just found this forum. I was recommended to start the C25K by a friend who has now gone beyond week 9. I wanted to be fitter and healthier in general, but found all that gym stuff boring! I'm now about to start week 8, running 38 mins is something I never thought I'd do. I've always been more of a "I don't run, and if you see me running you'd better run too because something's chasing me"! Kinda person!

My hobby has made me become more focussed. I belong to various amateur dramatics groups and we're putting a show on next year. I've secured to part, now all I have to do is lose the weight and tone up!!

That's very encouraging! I'm on week 4 and can't believe I am running for 5 minutes - though it isn't easy - so to think I might get to running for 38 minutes is very amazing!
