Yes, brilliant idea! Use it as one of your programme runs. Perhaps walk the first 5 mins as your warm up, it will stop you setting off too fast.

Yes, I would recommend all 456 parkruns, knowing that the ethos, atmosphere and supportive nature of the runs I have been to is reproduced all around the country or indeed the world.
You don't have to run all the way, just do your C25K session and walk the rest. Register your club as NHS C25K just to spread the word.
Yes, Parkrun is great for covering the distance (whether you're walking/running/pushing a buggy/walking the dog) and getting used to running with other people.
I've signed up for it. I'm on week 8 now so fingers crossed I'll be ok
