Week 7 Run 2...

Well what a difference having a 2 day break makes. Also I only had one nightshift to do this weekend, so I was well rested.

Felt stronger from the start of my run today and at certain points my route I noticed that I was further ahead than normal.

I had a good last run on my last run but today I surprised myself. When I reached the ending point of my last run today, I still have a good minute to go. So managed 2 full laps today. An extended one and a normal lap. Feeling very happy about that.

I'm obviously getting fitter and as I said before, the 2 day rest probably helped greatly. Temperature is nice and cool today too so that helped. 3.80km covered today. Not the greatest but it's getting better for me. I like to keep note of those distances for my own personal account. If I ever run 5km in 30 minutes that will be great but right now I just greatful that I've made it this far and continue to improve with every run.

Happy running folks.x.

Well done. I’d say you are well on track (sorry!) for 5k in the 30 minutes, something I’ve still not achieved. Keep enjoying it!

Sounds great Donna! Well done!

I’m sure you’ve already posted this but do you run on a track?

Your distance sounds great for 25 minutes!

A lot of folks enjoying their runs today! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Thank you. No I run around a local playing field which is on the outskirts of Epping Forest.

I used to do track and field but a long time ago.
