Post graduation run - looking at a new behind!

So first run out since graduating. No chance of running with daughter for a whole week so decided to take the dog instead. All new experience! Of course there was a new behind to follow (I'm always at the back, though I notice the dog set off too fast and had to slow down before we were done!), a new route (no way could I trust our dog on a waist lead - she would be slaloming though my legs at every step), new terrain (grass whipped from ankle to thigh) and a new coach (thought I'd given Michael a try for a change).

Same week 9 run, but a lot cooler and considerably faster than the crawl that was my week 9 run 3 (I know, I know, only yesterday, I read on here that most injuries occur in the runs immediately post graduation - I must pay more attention).

Really happy with that run though. Onwards. :)

She's mighty fine! An english poi nter - 8 going on 9, but can still sprint for England when she wants to πŸ˜€

I don't, I have a Spaniel and regularly Canicross with her and my daughter's Beagle. But I have borrowed a friend's English Pointer and, running behind her, it felt like I could go for miles. I've also borrowed a different friend's GSP and it was like being rocket powered.

Haha. All sounds very very brave 😁. Am slightly in awe of canicrossers!
