Graduation Run

So its finally done. Run 3 of Week 9 completed and I hit 5km after 28mins and 56 seconds. What a rush this has been. While it took me an extra 2 weeks due to illness at week 6, its been well worth it. So happy that I have completed it. Thinking back its been an adventure, and I have the bug now so will continue to run 3 days a week and keep up the fitness. So there have been a total of 31 runs this year, some 150KM of running on a number of routes, and I have met some amazing people on this forum too so thanks to you all, to NHS, and Laura for the encouragement too. I do have to thank my amazing wife for helping me at the start too and getting me out in January and encouraging me to push on though and get the motivation runs behind me.

We are so lucky to have this podcast series, forum, and support base to help us though this. Remember that this is benefiting us all and helping us to achieve a level of fitness that for some of us we have not had in over 25 years.

To those that are starting on this journey, no matter what age you are, what size or build, no matter how long it takes you keep going and try your best and you will be amazed at what you can achieve.
