Graduation run

Well I did it! 😆Meant to get up early then overslept so didn't have have time to drive to the nice shaded route I'd planned. Instead it was out on the old airfield, no shade at all. Had intended to carry on running until I'd done 5k but ran out of time and only did 4.69k in about 35 minutes. No time for a warm down walk. I was still getting my breath back as I got in the shower!😅 So still got a challenge ahead to do that 5k. Thinking about trying a park run soon but I might wait until the weather cools down a bit. It's been brilliant. I never thought 9 weeks ago that I could run for more than a couple of minutes. I am so pleased with myself ... can you tell? I only joined this forum 2 weeks ago but I've found it to be a really supportive and encouraging space. Well done to everyone for keeping on going cos it's not easy, but it's definitely worth the effort. Thanks to Flynn my dog for going with me every step of the way. Extra treats for him, cake for me🍰 Congratulations to anyone else who's graduating this week. Keep on running 🌞
