Went on a run/walk along the coastal paths with my son. I didn't take Laura with me as I knew it would be too hilly for me to obey her every command! Instead we set off walking to the top of the cliff and then ran as far as we fancied. When we got back, I checked on strava and we had travelled 5.3km, gone up hill 100m and spent 49 minutes doing it. Not very fast I know but I still feel proud. Cooled down with a dip in the welsh sea! I'll have another go when the aches have subsided!

This is what REAL running is all about!!! No trying to set some arbitrary pace - no trying to beat some PB - no self imposed pressure to run non-stop - no fear that someone may see you walking up a hill - just the joy of running , how and when you feel like it - in a scenic place.
You're right. That sums it up 😆
