First 5K 😁😁😁

Having graduated a while ago, being fairly slow and not having much free time to run, I’d still not actually done a 5K. Until this morning that is 😁🏃‍♀️🍾

Was awake really early and thought why not give it a go. It wasn’t very fast by many people’s standards, but for me it was pretty good, so I’m on a bit of a high and super proud of myself 😀🙃😆

Well done MummyTum - it’s a great feeling isn’t it! I’m still only managing 5k in 50 minutes so don’t worry about being slow - I suspect you’re faster than that! And you’re out there which is the main thing.

Thanks 😊 You too! I’m really not bothered by speed. If I get slowly faster, great! But I’d far rather enjoy the run pootling along slowly than try to go faster and resent every step 😊🏃‍♀️

Amazing achievement and in my book, time does not matter one jot .... it is something to PERHAPS keep trying to chip away at, but nah I think getting off the couch (and for me out and about) 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ is what it is truly about. Well done 👍
