That piercing scream you heard about an hour ago was me completing R3W9, and hence the C25K programme. Honestly, it was my best run yet! Maybe it was the excitement of my graduation run, but I couldn't stop smiling! I ran the whole way with this ridiculous grin -- I must have looked slightly unhinged.
But I was also thinking as I ran, how much I've learned during these recent weeks from all you forum folk. Being able to come back from a run and share my experiences and queries with such kind, non-judgmental, like-minded people has been instrumental in helping me to progress through this programme.
So -- my sincere thanks everyone! It's been a brilliant ride! xx

Utterly utterly fabulous. I'll bet that smile goes right the way round to the back of your headπ
It's so true that the programme is fantastic, but this forum is nothing short of miraculous for boosting you on, answering questions and generally chillin' and having a laugh. We also put on a mean party, so step up to that podium and bask in the well deserved applause!
Massive ππCONGRATULATIONSππ gazelle2B
Now get the running shoes off and the dancing shoes onπ
HeeHee, Thanks McFitty. I'm really happy, proud, and more than a little amazed that I did it! Looking forward to keeping it going now. BTW, you have the most amazing collection of emojis!!!
I have lost over 2 stone and added about 10lb of muscle all through running and body weight excercises ... I used this name when I started as it's what I wanted to be and IT reminds me of what I have achieved and what's still to do! I love running I only wish I had found it earlier!!
Thanks Wizziewood59, I really did enjoy the graduation run...and the whole C25K programme! I started it with quite a lot of scepticism, and finished it with humble astonishment.
Well done - fingers, eyes and toes crossed this will be me on Thursday!!!!
I've been doing the programme with a beginners group at our village running club and we are doing our final run with the whole club, then we get a medal and a buffet after. Can't believe that 8 weeks ago running for a minute seemed like torture and last night I managed 30 minutes. Have already signed up for a transition course to keep this new me going...
Congratulations. Great effort all your hard work has paid off. I am a couple of weeks behind you but really enjoying myself. Really don't want it to end ππΎπ
