so I did the twenty min run, though have to admit that I did chicken out of the bad weather and took to the treadmill! Not sure it counts the same as twenty mins outside, but hey i'm having it!!!!

I let out a little woooo ! when I finished it and surprised the runner on the next treadmill, but how giddy was I!!!!

I'm on W7 and have done the last two runs outside, after running on a treadmill up til then. I found the first very difficult but only because I set off too fast. Once I got the pace, the second one outside was fine. So if you want to transition to the outside, you might well find it not too bad at all. And treadmill running definitely counts!

have sort of mixed it up doing treadmill for first run of the week then other two outside, but it's bit different when each run is different.

Twenty minutes on a treadmill sounds like a huge achievement to me - I'd much rather be outside with distractions! Well done sofa-sloth, keep up the good work. This programme is amazing, but it's you that did all that running. :)

thanks greenlegs, believe me there are always plenty of distractions in the gym (mens weight night - fascinating lol) but you are right I much prefer the outdoors so that's where i'm heading for my next run long as the weather is fine. I don't have a jacket as yet, need a cheap and cheerful one !
