Feeling pleased. Have completed wk3.. any tips for Wk4? It looks like a bit of a step. Some helpful soul told me wk4 is when most people give up.. hardly inspirational.

W4 does look tricky, but it is completely doable! Don't be put off, all the work you have done in the previous weeks will help you out.

Week 2 looked hard from week 1

Week 3 looked hard from week 2

Week 4 looked hard from week 3

Each week is a challenge but as Angel43 says, absolutely achievable🏃

You're right all weeks looked hard and I can't believe that I was running for 3 minutes this week when in wk1 60 seconds felt an age! I'm actually looking forward to tackling wk4.. 😊

I'm in week 8 and the process just continues, although once you do week 7, you kind of know you've got it in you.

You will do this!

You'll be fine I didn't give up at week 4. Just started week 5. As is so often said on here it's all about pace. Get some good tunes in your ears and you're off. My preferred music at the moment is house of pain - jump around. It just seems to fit ha ha. Seriously it's all in your head and the walking bits are there for you to recover just keep running in the running parts. Look ahead and think how you will feel at the end. 😁

I have just finished run 1 of w4 and even though i found it hard it's definitely doable . There is a lot of encouragement throughout the run and it really helped me. I found that the first 3 minutes was the hardest part where I was thinking to myself I can't do this . You know what though ... I did it!! And so will you!!! X

You just do it.. you can, you are ready for it and with every slow and steady step you will reach the next week.

Focus on how far you have come, and not how far to go :)

There are tricky weeks, of course there are, but we are prepared for them...have confidence in the programme and even more faith in yourself :)

" ....believe in yourself... you are half way there ..." x

I'm attempting W4R1 tomorrow and agree that it looks quite a step up. Nervous and excited about giving it a go!

Let us know how it goes and good luck

You are not most people, you are you. If you want to complete this programme you will, its your journey to enjoy.

Those sort of people are not at all helpful are they, maybe a bit of the green envy shining through?

You can do this runner, good luck!

Bet they weren't on this forum? That sounds like jealous coworker, neighbour or local coach potato, certainly not one of your uber successful cyber running buddies here in tortoise town🏃🏼‍♀️🐢🏃🏻🐢

Week 4 is like all the weeks you need to take it slow and steady, you'll be fine.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

How did you guess! Overcoming others negativity is just another hurdle we face. But in defiance I signed up for Race for Life in July.. I will prove them wrong. Thanks for all the support. Love joining tortoise town

Yes I was wondering the same thing. Did wk3r3 today and am a bit anxious about wk 4 but found all the replies helpful and encouraging

I'm looking forward to W4R1. Planning to do it on Sunday. I completed this programme 3 years ago so I know I can do it. So can you x
