Others will say to follow the programme but I have repeated several weeks several times. But when I do move on I wonder why I didn’t do it earlier.

Everyone is different and I think you know when you are ready to move up providing you’ve kept doing the runs.

Thank you for that !

I'm about to finish week 3 tomorrow. I think I have considered repeating every run I've done so far! The advice to me was to give it a go (week 4 in this case) if you can't do it then repeat week 3 - but who knows? We might surprise ourselves! Good luck whatever you decide

I would try the next run. If you simply can’t do it, drop back to run 2 of last week. But I think you will surprise yourself.

I’m now in the middle of Week 6 never having run as an adult and being old, unfit and over weight - the programme is specifically for non-runners.

Good luck, whatever you decide.
