Woo hoo! 25 minutes done π€ last 5 minutes I slowed then ten second sprint at end (well fast run lol)
I have started congratulating myself during my run and at the end 'well done James!' Etc to stave off negativity and it seems to work!? What does everyone else do?
Sweat dripping off my brow just now lol wow!

I too aspired to week six a couple of weeks ago... it's amazing how quickly it goes! ... best of luck! (Not that you will need it because this actually works!)
Yes, I congratulate myself all the time: "Another km done" "You thought you were going to have to stop there but you carried on" and so on. Top tip: don't do it out loud, people think you're odd enough already - puffing, red-faced and sweating heavily
Listen up though, go steady! I can't emphasise that enough. Rein in your desire to sprint
That will come down the line, post Graduation, when you are a fully built runner. Which you can be but not this week. Nine weeks of the programme so take care.
I love your positivity ππ. You are right to give yourself a pat,on the back, after each session. You work hard, you deserve it. Well, done and keep plugging away
I take my hat off to you! I have this run scheduled for Thursday and I'm terrified, but reading your post makes me think it might actually be possible. Well done, amazing achievement, and I think it's great practice to compliment yourself for these things! Every run is an achievement after all!
