Just got back from my final run, what a great feeling to complete this briliant programme. Would never have believed I could run for 30 mins before I started this. Only managed 4K at the 30 minute mark so pushed on to see if I could do the full 5k - I did it!! Took mealmost 39 minutes and I wont be doing it again for quite a while! Will now continue with 3 runs of 30 mins a week π
W9R3 done! Yay I'm a graduate π: Just got back... - Couch to 5K
W9R3 done! Yay I'm a graduate π
I am very pleased for you!
Congratulations and good luck for your running future!
Well done, that's brilliant ... and 5k, a double whammy! Keep it up, Happy Running!
Brilliant - well done on completing the programme and pushing on for that 5k!βΊ
Huge well done...Graduate!!!!
Pull back now, bask in the glory.. a few runs just for pure joy ... and then a bit of consolidation of the 30 minute runs... until you decide where you running shoes will take you next!
Thank you oldfloss, running without Laura is going to be interesting. Can't wait to just go out and 'run' without any agenda!! π
Congratulations.
COngratulations! π You can still run with Laura! Download the C25K+ Stepping Stones podcasts and off you go. Hours of running using a similar format and music (sadly π) to take your running to the next level Steeping Stones, Stamina and Speed. They are tough but excellent for building runner's legs
Great stuff! I still, run them as they crop,up on my playlist. They are strange as the tempo's are mixed so sometimes you go very slowly, but it's all designed to strengthen the legs, and everything else for that matter. I did them regularly, got them off pat and then started on the journey to 10k
You only need progress very slowly. It's far better to take your time over it. Saves getting injured π
I think that's exactly what I'm going to need, my poor little legs definitely could do with some strengthening! Thank you π
Fantastic!
Congratulations! Very impressive
Thank you π
Brilliant - well done! x
Ah thank you π
CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATE!!!!! βΊβΊβΊ
Thank you Irish John, so nice for you to refer to me as 'graduate' - I'm still walking on cloud 9!! π
