W2D1 DISASTER!!

Not what you think πŸ˜‰ my new trainers got dirty!! Gutted!

Had to post because I am laughing at myself. I have now turned into one of those runners that I used to look at and say "Why would you?" When I saw them running in the rain!

Feeling cold and wet (as you can see!) But exilarated.

And for those northaners out there thinking of holidaying in sunny Cornwall..... it's not.....sunny that is! πŸ˜‚

By the way, it actually felt easier this week, bonus!

Well done, I had my 1st run today in South London under the rain too! I am glad I have done it, next one on Wednesday.

Those shoes weren't bought to be ornaments. Wear the mud on them as a badge of honour. :)

Great run by the sound of it...it is exhilarating isn't it...you don't even notice the rain..😊

Go Shirley..onwards and upwards.

Haha, I used to be so careful to avoid getting my trainers even wet when I just walked in them but now I run in them I couldn't care less! Guess we really are proper runners if we've got dirty wet footwear πŸ˜‰

Yeay!!!

You did it... and as the others will tell you.. the mud and dirt on your shoes are a badge of honour :) Never let then any where near a washing machine... dry them out and bash the mud off...

I posted a picture of my shoes on Bridge to 10K forum..all new and pretty and then dirty and much. much prettier :)

Very well done you, with every slow step, you get stronger and make this journey your own:)
