Hiya, so I just completed run 2 of week 1, and wow, I found it hard today! I'm a complete newbie when it comes to running, plus about 50kgs overweight and have a pacemaker! But I'm determined. I've signed up for the Colour Run in Brighton in September and I'm determined to run it!

Today's newbie, tomorrow's winner! Go for it, there's loads of us here who cannot and have not run and yet we all shine in our own ways.

Take it slow, really slow, don't be tempted to miss so called rest days and post regularly so the graduates can keep you on track.

Welcome to our newest runner😀🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️👍🏼👏🏼

Thank you x

Same here - just completed run 2 week 1 and found it harder! Shins are killing me! Is that normal? I'm a complete beginner.

I would say probably, yes! (That's what I'm telling myself anyway!)

I think, just make sure we stretch and it'll get better/easier - it's what I'm telling myself anyway!

That's ok then! i don't think I did the warm up properly - maybe I should wait a few days until I do run 3! nice to know its not just me anyway! Thanks for your support.
