First of all... Thank you everyone for your encouragement after my last post. The dreaded week 6 is now behind me, and I've completed the first run of week 7! I really can't believe I can run for 25 minutes. There's only one problem with week 7, and that's the terrible music. I mean, it was bad before but this week is truly awful! The only way to get through it is to get to week 8 I suppose... Onwards and upwards!

Running for 25 mins? Why not!
Now you've run for 25 minutes - twice! Well done!
I don't remember the music from that week even though it wasn't so long ago (must have blotted it out of my memory) but now that you've done the Week 7 run once, you can do it without the podcast for the next couple of runs. Warm-up walk for 5 minutes, run for 25, cool-down walk for 5, with your own music/ podcast/ watch - or, in Irish-John's case, kitchen timer... ⏲😊
Week 7 music was pretty bad but I have just started week 8 and I'm sorry to say IMHO it's even worse....😕. But for me that's all part of the fun.
I read some weeks ago a reply to the effect that you should think of the 'music' as part of the training instructions and not as music!
I don't like much of it. W9 is similar but as I have been using it 3 times a week since mid March it's becoming part of me!!
One day when I can work out how I'm going to make up a playlist of Beatles tracks - but the danger is I might sing along ......
Music? It is fine.... You are doing really well... onward and upward
