I’ve just completed Week 6 and run for 25 mins! I really didn’t think I would progress this quickly. I’m looking forward to keeping on keeping on.

25 mins!

Huge well done you! The lovely long runs beckon now. They are perfect for relaxing into, and let those newly forming running legs do their stuff !
Maybe think about upping your core strength work too, on some of your rest days. As the runs get longer, we need to keep the rest of our body, up with the legs!
Brilliant! Slow and steady and on you go!

Well done completing week 6 😁👍Onto the fun runs , enjoy the rest of the program !

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.

Well done. I know it’s amazing what you have achieved. Im also looking forward to keeping carrying on

Fantastic! It's so exciting to have moved beyond the walking breaks. Now we have to learn to pace ourselves over longer distances/times. If you're like me, it's only a few weeks ago you were worrying about extending 60secs to 90 secs - yet here you are only a few weeks later at 25 mins! Well done!
