My mums gravy's bad, but at least it moves about a bit (Tony Hancock circa 1962). 🤡That just about sums up this mornings effort. Having managed 25 mins on Friday to finish week 6, I thought I'd check how far I go today as a benchmark for runs 2 and 3. Well for all of you worriers out there, I didn't quite make 3k. 😹😹😹 but at least I moved about a bit for a full 25 mins. Tomorrow I have an infusion for my colitis which may make me a bit rough, so week 7 runs 2 & 3 may have to wait. As I said last week, when I started this I couldn't run a bath, so if I can hit 30 mins 3 times a week then that'll do for me.
Happy jogging all of you

Great post John! Made me chuckle!! But wow, good for you for getting out there. You ran for 25 minutes and that’s awesome! I too am a 🐌, making slow inroads into becoming a bit quicker some day, but we’re running aren’t we? 🏃♂️🏃♀️💪🏻👊
Hope all goes ok the next few days and you’re back to running again before you know it! 😀👍🏻
Cheers cheeky. The side effects are not always an issue and I'm hoping doing this will help, so I've just compiled my play list for Tuesdays run 2. As you say we're out there 😇😇😇
Thank you. Last night I watched a 17 year old Norwegian run 5000 meters in around 13 minutes, but this morning I ran for nearly twice that long, and without a brother sporting a ridiculous mustache (google Henrik Ingebrigtsen). Everyone's a winner 🥇
The hospital run is a regular every few weeks and part of my starting the C25k was to try to fight off the headaches and fatigue. So I'm hopeful to not let it interrupt the schedule. If it does never mind.
