Missing running so very much.

Well, week one on the IC following my shoulder surgery and I can't believe just how much I'm missing my runs. :(

I've been walking daily since the op although my first walk was literally ten minutes and I was worn out, probably down to the residual effect of the anaesthetic, now day 7 post op and I've managed 2 miles, including a very tiny and very slow run, but I felt rather unbalanced by the sling so thought it safer to have a bit of patience!

Anyhow, I just can't wait until I'm free of the sling and I can get back into my running togs and get back 'out there'. So frustrating :(

Take care and give yourself time to heal. I know that horrible post-anaesthetic feeling :( .

Walking will keep you active so try not to get too frustrated :) . XX

Take care, i am missing my running too but love coming on here. I'm in a similar state, four weeks on Thursday post op. It'll be a bit longer for me on the running as mine was stomach. I was told that the effects of the op take a good few weeks to leave. Be kind to yourself and safe recovery Rfcx.
