I'm in Berlin tonight, and one of the things I'm most looking forward to is my morning run along the River Spree, past the Chancellors Residence, around near the Reichstag and then back past the Central station for a well-earned breakfast in the hotel.
It'll only be about 4K, but I'll feel like part of the running community as I will be overtaken by many fit, young gazelles along the river. Normally I'm on my own.
Running tourism is the best! (Pictures are from last time I was there).

Coooeeee! I hope you're having a lovely time 🙂 How refreshing to have such a lovely change of scenery. It looks proper grand that does. I hope you were able to get a good runner's breakfast
3 days ago I ran 5k along the promenade in a small city in British Columbia called White Rock. It included running to the end and back of Canadas longest wooden pier. What a fantastic run in the evening sun. Now I'm back in the UK and it all seems like a bit of a dream.
Running tourism? I've not heard of the phrase before and love it 😄 - I'm off to Texas tomorrow and looking forwRd to running in 4 different places including Houston - will have to make sure I takes some pics.
I'm an early morning runner, so hopefully will be ok - though it is getting up to 28 in the afternoon. Leipzig will be fabulous I'm sure - Like you I love running in new places - it always feels a bit more exciting
