Running tourism

I'm in Berlin tonight, and one of the things I'm most looking forward to is my morning run along the River Spree, past the Chancellors Residence, around near the Reichstag and then back past the Central station for a well-earned breakfast in the hotel.

It'll only be about 4K, but I'll feel like part of the running community as I will be overtaken by many fit, young gazelles along the river. Normally I'm on my own.

Running tourism is the best! (Pictures are from last time I was there).

I've heard they haff vays of making you talk - now I see they haff vays you can run ;) (sorry, sorry - could not resist, very un-PC but just could not resisit ;) )

Seriously - enjoy it to the fullest :) It sounds like you will be making a memory that you will enjoy for the rest of your life :)

3 days ago I ran 5k along the promenade in a small city in British Columbia called White Rock. It included running to the end and back of Canadas longest wooden pier. What a fantastic run in the evening sun. Now I'm back in the UK and it all seems like a bit of a dream.

Sounds lovely! When are you going back?

No idea. It was an in and out work trip. Might get back to somewhere close later this year but not likely to get to White Rock again

Hope it's not too hot in Texas☀. I get to run in Leipzig next week - doesn't sound anywhere near as exotic! Enjoy

I'm an early morning runner, so hopefully will be ok - though it is getting up to 28 in the afternoon. Leipzig will be fabulous I'm sure - Like you I love running in new places - it always feels a bit more exciting :D
