More Running Tourism

Wanted to share my most recent destination as a running tourist! A short run along the lakeside in Ohrid, Macedonia. I thought that dodging all of the people walking along the promenade had slowed me down but my watch told me it was my fastest ever pace!

I love that I'm now someone who makes room for my running gear when I go on holiday. Would have never believed that of myself when I started C25k just over a year ago. That's 3 countries I've clocked up as a running tourist and another now ticked off as 'training' for the ultimate running tourist experience which I'm hoping for - a run in Central Park, New York in July!

I stayed there in 1989 on a walking holiday. I could never have imagined that I would become a runner. I bet it was nice to run there.
