So after being on the IC since for about 6 weeks. Firstly due to Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot, and then a twisted left knee, I've restarted C25K this week. I've opted to go back and start from the beginning again to ease my poor old body into it gradually, but I'm happy to report that so far, so good. I completed W1R2 this morning and felt no nasty aches or pains, so feeling pleased about that. I will get there......one day!!!

Sarah1703. I too have restarted c25k twice due to injury breaks. Always restarted at week 1 and gradually moved thru the weeks, now in week 8 & still going ok. I generally only undertake two runs a week, giving myself a minimum of two rest days between each run - I think this has helped me stay injury free. Good luck.

I try to do 2 runs a week as I struggle if I try to run on alternate days. This is how I managed to my week 6 run 1 and that it took me more than 7week approxs. It is still worth it

Well done! I'm on my second try as well, and hoping I'll manage to get to the end this time.

Sarah, WELCOME BACK!! I'm on the IC just for the very short term ... took part in my first Parkrun on Saturday, tripped 50m from the finish and as it turned out doing my right hand and back quite a bit of mischief in the process. Thankfully nothing broken and I did get up and finish! Ironically I pretty much walked all 5K on Saturday but it was a glorious morning and I enjoyed it, the company was great as well. For me that made it 3 lots of 5K last week, all essentially walks. I still can't get round my gremlins stopping me almost immediately when I try to run. It's almost as if getting to W5/6 twice hasn't helped me at all. I'm not sure I could face starting again for the third time. I'm at my wits end: my personal trainer at my gym (for my core work) says it's all in my mind. I'm sure he's right, but so what .... I'm going to need your help again!!
