Last year by end of October I got to W8R2 I was hit hard by a nasty cold virus and after I recovered I just couldn't pick it back up then xmas came and I binged and had zero chance of getting back to where I was.
So I've started back at the beginning,currently W4R2. Doing dry January has definitely helped 😀 I'm finding it easier second time round for sure.
Oh Dotty, how unlucky to be struck down when you were so close to finishing, but well done for picking it up again! All that previous training will not have been in vain though - you know what to do now. All the best!
I did go back to W7 but couldn't even manage that.Was so disappointed with myself..then basically said sod it and returned to the couch with the biscuit tin 😄
Illness really gets in the way of running doesn’t it? and then we’ll Christmas that gets in the way of everything, so glad to see you are running again
Was struck down for 3 weeks.Left me with a hacking cough,just couldn't run a min let alone 28 lol 😀 But it feels good to be back x
Yeah this winter colds and flu have been really nasty
I’m returning after getting to mid week 9 then stopping with injury! It was so frustrating!
I’m also doing dry January - definitely helps! 😆
Anyhow, now mid week 4 and all doing ok but now think I have shin splints. Going to have to take it easy and do some icing I think.
