I am a cyclist and used to run many years ago. My wife started following c to 5k and absolutely loves running now, so I have now decided to follow the course as well. I have done my first two runs of the training programme, and am already enjoying it!.. Third run on Wednesday!

Welcome! You'll find a whole bunch of running lovers here who are happy to give advice, sympathise to frustration, and be one anothers' cheerleaders. Just take it slow and steady and you'll do great. Good luck!
So glad you're enjoying it! I'm also a cyclist (and just finished week 1) and think my legs are in shock from the different muscles I'm using for running!!
Yes, I had the same feeling. I did a run with my wife before starting this programme and started off too fast, and started getting a pain in my calf. So I am taking it steady and following the programme .
I wish my husband would do this. It's not that I'd like to run with him, but I'd like a shared interest. He would rather drink a bottle of red wine than go for a run
Well done Cyclistrunning . I wondered for a minute if Him Indoors (very devout and devoted cyclist) had secretly taken up running! But I think his cycling addiction is too deep to allow for diversification.
Thank you. My cycling is very much with me, and this running is done as a little fun extra and to have another take on exercise and what fun in can be on the open road. I am loving the difference between the two. I hope your running is going well...
