Yay! Well done. If you were breathless you might have been too quick. Go ever so slowly and you will be fine.

Sounds like it went according to plan. Enjoy the rest of the day, basking in a warm post run glow

Sorry no smilies, they are not working for some reason

You did better than me - my first week, I had to lie down for 30 mins after W1R1 - other half was very close to calling out the ambulance! Great going for getting started. Don't worry about 'glowing' - or using an available tap to cool down! Morning runs are great, so if you can get out for 7:00, go for it! Welcome on board, the program is brilliant.

i wanna try 7 as the school run is between 8 and 8:30 got a bit anxiety running earlier freaked a bit so was so relieved when the 90 sec walk was given to compose myself.

as soon as i jogged 1st jog by time 60 seconds was up i was like omg am gonna die but i battled on and done the whole lot. Was going to chicken out and sleep longer but had to be done as not only would i let my own self down and health but u guys too as you all have supported and encouraged me for ages and gave me plenty of advice.

Now you have that first session done, you know you can do this..

Always start nice and slowly when you run just a very gentle jog.

Well done Hidden :) That first run is really tough - and you did it! Fantastic :)

Keep on it, I find getting out the house the hardest part! Brill.
