Just wanted to share here as non of my friends are runners and get a bit fed up of my new 'obsession'.
I finished my W6R3 last night on a massive high! I've been wondering who is this Laura you all talk about so went and re looked at the NHS website and low and behold I found the podcasts, I LOVE the addition of the music to run with and after the first 10 minutes got that lovely comfortable warm feeling in my little legs, they felt good and supple and like they were on auto pilot.
Breezed through the run and when she told me I'd got 60 seconds left I thought, hmm still got a bit in the tank here, so put on a bit of a sprint
I'd ditched my garmin and borrowed my husbands Tomtom runner 2 to track my distance and pace and bagged myself 3.69 miles - sooooo happy and honestly never believed I could do this. So to anyone else who's thinking they can't do this, yes you can, honestly this program is AMAZING!
I also now feel like I can and will be able to finish the 9 weeks and do 5k thanks to the program and all the great support here, I heard those magic words last night 'you're a runner'
