W5R3 this morning, I'm doing a happy dance right now, decided to go out this morning, I usually run in the evenings but wanted to get this one out of the way as I know I'd spend all day worrying about it and may even talk myself out of it! So out I went in -1 degrees hearing all the wise words and encouraging comments from you lovely lot, telling myself 'you can do this' Hubby comes with me on his bike (he can't run, hard as he's tried, his knees are knackered and he just can't do it) shouting encouragement along the way and reminding me to keep it slow and steady.
The last two minutes were hard, but I kept telling myself 'if you can run 18 minutes you can run 19, if you can run 19 you CAN run 20' before i knew it I was finished!
Honestly for anyone worrying about this run I can concur with everyone else who's done it 'you can do this - you really can'

Congratulations! That really is a huge accomplishment.. One of the mega milestones in the programme. You're going to sail through the next few weeks. Awesome attitude and awesome runπππ
Of course you will! Don't think about future sessions! Just think about the one immediately in front of you. If you go seriously slowly you can do it. Remember SLOW is key π
Well done, I also set of for this run very early this morning with the same thoughts as you. Managed it fine started to get tired with 3 minutes to go but pushed through it and now I feel great. Xx
It's such a buzz to accomplish that run. I think we all think it will be impossible and then are thrilled to bits to have it behind us. Hope you're still glowing.
