I did it!

W9R4 this morning. Following my rubbish run on Saturday had to do an extra run to truly graduate. Very pleased with myself & today's run almost good. Not in pace (2.69 miles in 30 mins) but feeling. Maybe the psychological boost of being the last of the programme. Truly delighted I can now run for 30 minutes & a lot of credit to posters on this forum for their support, advice & encouragement along the way, it really makes a massive difference so thank you all. Determined to keep running through the winter so will see how that goes! Anyone at the early stages do stick with it, it really does work. If I can anyone can.

Congratulations! You had me worried they’d added an extra run for a minute there! There’s nothing wrong with that pace either, it’s very respectable, actually quite impressive. That 5k is within you as well... wouldn’t be much longer running at all. Go celebrate a job well done... just read your profile... that 2 years of getting fit has been achieved... be very proud of yourself.

Aw thank you UnfitNoMore! Ha ha, yes, an extra run, that would be a kicker! Thanks for comment re pace, no real idea about what is good but presume should be getting close to 5k in 30 minutes. Thanks for all your encouragement & support, it has definitely helped.👍😀

No worries. This plan is about 30 minutes and the fitness it brings... less than 10% of us will hit 5k in that time... everyone who graduates this is capable of getting there though.

Thank you so much Oldfloss. I am pretty pleased with myself, lol, have found levels of determination I didn't know I had! Hope I can keep it up through the dark, cold winter months.😀

You will...but, with the right running gear, and choosing some sensible routes...there may be challenges, but you will face them and we, will be right here to run with you :)

many of the Autumn runs and the winter runs are magical and bring delights of their own...:)
