A weekend off for a change yay. I'd been planning starting W6 as soon as I was up this morning, looking forward to a Saturday morning run! wonders will never cease.
Unfortunately having been struck by the annual February cold I was feeling a little below par. However having taken the dogs out first thing the weather was fine and dry, albeit a bit chilly. So I decided to have a nice hot Lemsip to help clear my head, and venture out armed with tissues secured in various places.
On the whole a good session, and I was thankful of the walk breaks purely to have a chance to sort myself out as my nose was also wearing trainers and running faster than me (sorry if that's too much info!). But like other people have said the legs took a bit longer to get going once Laura told me to run again but there aren't too many more of these coming up. Anyway I did it, and so glad I went first thing as now it's bitter cold and raining whilst I'm indoors wrapped in my blanket with a hot water bottle and a cuppa. Hopefully I can manage R2 on Monday but will see how the cold doing before committing x Have a fab weekend folks x

Thank you. Know what you mean I said to hubby that I wanted to try today incase I feel worse in the morning x May venture for a medicinal brandy a little later x
Well done you.. so many of us fighting the lurgy monsters... they are real pains at the moment. Hopefully this run will have done you good.. as long as it does not hit the chest!!
Good do get the run in before the weather closes in again too. A bit of sunshine is just the medicine we all need right now !
Hope it's all better by Monday. Nothing worse than having your nose running faster than you are! Loved reading this post, lovely, fun and positive vibes in spades!☺
I recently purchased some winter commuter cycling gloves thinking that those have got to be warm, and I've used them for running so far. They also come with a bit of terry on the thumb for nose wiping.... I can hear you all going "Eeeeeeeew" from here.
