That was harder. Bad sleep and reluctant legs. First 5 hard to get breath sorted as usual. Middle 8 was easier on the breath, harder on the legs, stubbornness needed. Final 5 was relatively easy but for lead legs. Just back and the high that kicks in on the cool down hasn’t yet. But it will! Time for water, a banana and a nice hot bath.
Enjoy your next run x

Very well done Jay66UK for completing this run......I found this run to be the worst so far.....looking back having just done wk6r3, I think that this wk6 is a transitioning week,as we move on to the serious stuff.....enjoy your well deserved bath and enjoy the next few runs 😀🏃♀️😀🏃♀️
Thanks Ally. I can see why this “catches people out”. Despite 2 rest days I don’t think I was fully recovered from the 20 minute run of week 5. Feeling really good about myself for having completed the run. The buzz is slow creeping up on me!
Well done on completing W6R1! Do hope that your lead legs have recovered. I'm hoping to complete W6R1 tomorrow, so really appreciate hearing how yours went. I feel I can not guarantee how my legs will respond. All the best for your next run.
Well done for doing the run, and thanks for sharing your experience. I think after doing the 20 min run, I have the mindset that I can do just about anything.lol.which I know is completely ridiculous . I am doing W6 R1 tomorrow so thanks again for the heads up , and it won’t come as such a blow when I discover it to be a tricky one.
Nice one Jay! Well done... 👍🏼I also did W6R1 today and found it v v tough after finishing w5 on a high... seemed to be more plodding than running today, just hoping for better on r2! 🐌
