Thanks for your encouragement so far guys. Got up at 6am today to do my run - not a morning person at all! So a pretty big deal - and it was great. Nice and cool - the step up from week 1 seemed ok too. Some of the intervals I wasn't ready to stop because it was feeling good, and a couple were harder to finish (towards the end) so still need to work on pacing myself. Just time for a quick shower and then off to work
Also my husband was jokingly telling me he didn't think I would do it - so of course, I got up at 6 and ran

Brilliant! Sounds like you did great I love getting out early, get up, get your stuff on and get it out of the way before the madness of the day gets in the way
Definitely I'm a health librarian so end up sitting quite a lot of the day doing research so have to make a concerted effort to get out and exercise my husband works on a farm so he gets a lot of going up and down hills (very steep coastal farm) and chasing stock so his fitness level is better than mine
Thanks I am in New Zealand, so it is summer and lovely and warm over here (sometimes a bit too warm!). It is just about light at 6 in the morning; the street lamps were still on till about halfway through my run I was feeling a bit tired by the time I got home from work last night, but it was a good tired. Rest day today and back to running again tomorrow! And I'm not stiff today; was worried I might be, but guess my stretching might help keep that at bay (and young limbs).
