W2R1 done and dusted

β€’13 Replies

Decided to do the early bird run this morning and get out there whilst it's cool. So glad I did and relieved it's out of the way. It wasn't so bad having the extra little bit of running time either.

That's what I have to remind myself of, it's never as bad as you think! And once it's done you wonder why you try to talk yourself out it!!!

For anyone starting out this week, you can do it!!!

You totally got this!

I've got a mentally busy day today so thought I'd get mine out of the way.

The extra 30 secs seemed fine and I appreciated the extra bit on the walking sections. Let me know how you get on πŸ˜πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Me too, and t was nice and cool. I am at same stage I was contemplating doing week1 run again but listened to others and went for week 2. As you say not as bad as I thought and doing a bit longer got into a better rhythm. Roll on Wednesday.

Yes for some reason the longer run and walk intervals felt better than last week. Last week I felt I was only just making it to the end of the run and needing all the walk to fully recover. Today felt better I think 😁

Go Us!!

Well done. It's nice going out in the morning as it feels that you've done something amazing (which you have) whilst a lot of people are still in bed. I can sweat in peace most of the time unless my daughter wakes up whilst I'm out who always welcomes me home with a request for breakfast haha!

I think I'll be sticking to early mornings from now on as it makes me get up and get going. Having a run done by 8am is miraculous for me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
