Yes, I did it! A day later than planned, so technically I haven't quite managed all three runs in a week - but I've done all three 30-min runs in 8 days with no practice runs, so that's it!
Oddly, the gremlins didn't appear. I faced my nemesis, with slightly more run-up than on run 1, and that went surprisingly easily - I was up it before I started struggling mentally as well as in my legs! π³
So all in all it was a pretty uneventful twice round my village circuit! But it's done!!! Time to party. And have my tea

Keeping going! My knee is feeling slightly iffy tonight, so I need to build up the knee exercises which I've started doing, and to find the distance and frequency which works well.
I've signed up for the London Supernova 5k at the start of April, along with a few colleagues, and I'm intending to be able to run the whole thing. And *if* my knee can hold out, I'd like to. Hold up to a 10k either in May or September. But that's entirely dependent on reality and practicality. I'd rather keep to slow 5k runs and be able to keep running than build up to a 10k, and get through it but with a knee so painful and sore by the time it's done that I stop running again...
In all honesty it's at least my third if not fourth graduation! But yes, even if the running drops off for a few months, i do come back as I find I miss it!
Thanks for all your support and encouragement along the way - I've been looking forward to my party here for so long!
The knee is feeling ok today. I've come to the sad realisation that I can't wear high heels for work any more - there's a very definite link between my shoes and the amount of hurting! On the bright side, I get to go shoe shopping now
Mr Rainbow came into the living room an hour or two after I got in from my run and said 'have you only just got back?!' No; he was just confused cos he found me doing the knee exercises - I'm trying to remember to fit them in whenever possible too...
I know it's been said so often, but the support on here really does make a huge difference! It's so odd that people whose names and faces I have no idea about can be so helpful, motivating and encouaging I'm so glad I found this forum in my early days, because it's such a great place. Thank you to everyone for contributing and making it what it is
