Hi guys! Starting week 3 (I had to repeat a week 2 run to get my stamina back up after my week off) and today's run just flew by! 2.5 mins was no problem, though I'm going pretty slow. Second run in these lovelies (Asics Venture 5s) and they are SO much more comfortable than the trainers I was using before. (If you're a beginner like me, I used this article to help me understand what I needed to look for in a decent but affordable running shoe: runnerclick.com/best-beginn... )
The sun's been pretty scarce this last week, and I've had to run in my puffer jacket to keep myself warm, but today felt like it was warming up a bit, so here's hoping <3 At the moment if I need a warm glow, I just look at my feet
Hope everyone else is having a good week too xxx

Lovely shoes😊🌟🏃and slow but steady is the way to go enjoy😊
Well done. Especially in this weather. I was lucky today and managed to wait till sun came out. I try to run at most with no more than 2 layers , thick rugby shirt and sweatshirt. Cant wait till temperatures stabilise at least a few degrees above freezing.
I hate to say this (If my friends knew I was talking about shoes they would think I was mad) but "nice shoes".
My running is now getting back to pre xmas levels apart from my weight which is not shifting at moment but al least not going up. Not worried cause last tme took longer to shift last few pounds to get to target. got down to 10st 9lb and scales winked for couple of seconds 10st 8lb and then went back to 10st 9lbs. So at least edging in right direction.
