W5R1 - Eeek

Well that was hard work. I did complete W5R1 but only just. My saving grace was that some music came on which exactly fitted my pace so that got me through it. Having the right music made a real different so off to investigate jog.fm!

Well Done Sarah Wk5 is a great week.

Tough but great, this is a real turning point in your running adventure, go for it, slow down if you need to just keep the legs moving!

2 more runs and you are on the glide to graduation.

Yep, a good track can make all the difference. I usually get Beyonce warbling about being "a survivor" "Footloose" always makes me feel better

It hadn't occurred to me how much difference it would make. I just fell into step with Cool for Cats by Squeeze. I've had a look at jog.fm and sorted out the bpm for that track so will sort out some others at the same pace. It might just get me through the rest of W5!

Thank you. I've slowed down each week so far, so am currently at the pace of an arthritic tortoise, so at least I'm running. I'm not worrying too much about speed. I can work on that once I;'e got the endurance sorted.
