Seasons greetings to everybody.
I completed my third stamina run for the week this morning.
I made a cautious start to the run as I have pulled something near my nether regions. (I don't mean that)!
On my warm up walk I was carefully moving down the steep hill wondering if my clothing was a little over the top. It was so peaceful and quiet. The further I went the easier it got. I have a sneaking feeling that my groin wanted to start the holiday a day earlier. I hit sea level and as soon as I had moved away from the lee of the island the clothing answer was YES!
I must have looked like a giant polythene bag careering along the causeway. Have you ever been buffeted from side to side and been happy. It was so intense that I completely forgot that I had a groin. I had reached fifteen minutes running in the blink of an eye.
The return phase was harder work. It's 4.30am, very dark and the wall your running into keeps moving from side to side. From a polly bag to a ping pong ball in one easy stroke.
It was a good run and made better with the knowledge that my holiday starts after work today.
Have a lovely Christmas and some great runs everybody.
All the best.
